In 2002, Venezuelan studio MASA invited Latin-american graphic artists to submit entries for a book project, asking only that the entries reflected somehow their own cultures. I created this illustration inspired by verses of Brazilian poet Augusto dos Anjos {1884-1914}. The book Latino, which is now out of print, was published by Die-Gestalten Verlag, featuring works by Nando Costa, Jorge Alderete, A’, Cisma, Carolina Aboarrage, Carlos Bêla, among other amazing artists.
